The past two years have been nothing short of phenomenal for the Bicycle Heaven Racing Team. We’ve won multiple Championships in Road racing, Criterium racing, and Cyclocross, among men and women, juniors, masters and category racers. We even closed out 2012 by winning three consecutive races by three different people in three different categories.
Everybody loves a winner. We’d be lying if we told you we didn’t. Wining isn’t the common bond of members of our team, though- love of racing bikes is. For every person on our team who won a race last year or will win a race next, we’ve probably got 5 people who didn’t. Know what? We love them all the same. On Bicycle Heaven, it doesn’t matter if you win or lose, if you’re Cat 5 or Masters World Champion. It matters if you love racing bikes.
We try to foster a culture of dedicated cyclists who are willing to race with each other and, more importantly, race for each other. While there are some tangible benefits to being on the team, if you’ve landed here while trying to figure out whether or not what you “get” for being on this team is “better” than any other, you may be disappointed.
What you “get” is to race your heart out for the other folks in the black jersey.
We love this stuff. Do you?
