We just got this in at the shop and decided we need to share how cool this crank set is. Anyone who thinks a bike manufacturer cant make a crankset is wrong this thing is awesome. The crank set is made of aluminum not carbon fiber and is light as can be. By the pictures of this crank you can see how nicely milled this piece is and the overall quality of the crank. But looks are not everything. I took numerous shots of the parts of this crank set on a scale to show just how amazing aluminum can be.

This number does not mean much alone so decided to get the weights of other competing cranks in order to put the weight into perspective.
A Dura Ace 9000 53/39 crank set is roughly 683grams
A Campagnolo Super record 53/39 crank set is roughly 640grams
A FSA K Force Light 53/39 crank set is roughly 665grams
A New 2012 Sram Red 53/39 crank set is roughly 609grams
Its easy to see why this is a top shelf crank set but one other thing that needs to be mentioned is that three of the competing crank sets have carbon fiber arms while the SISL does not.
