The Cannondale Supersix EVO Hi-mod is the ultimate racing machine. Designed to be the perfect blend of all the key factors of performance, weight, stiffness, compliance, handling, and aerodynamics. The EVO is so good that in march 2012 Tour Magazine in Germany named it the “best bike in the world”.
Supersix EVO is:
Light – At under 700 grams, it is the lightest production frame in the world.
Stiff – It has the best stiffness to weight ratio ever recorded, and incredible 142.3 Nm/deg/kg
Strong – It outperforms even most aluminum frames in destructive and fatigue testing.
Smooth – The two zone speed save micro suspentionsystem improves comfort, speed, and control.
Slim – EVO’s smaller diameter tubes give it a significant aero advantage over its over sized competitors, without the weight and stiffness compromises of aero tubing.
This particular EVO is wrapped with Sram’s new 2012 Red Groupset. Also in this photo you can see the SAVE chainstays. This is a feature Cannondale does where they thin out the seat stays in order to make the bike have more compliance in the rear end. Doing this makes for a very comfortable ride and keeps the bike glued to the ground.
