Stop the presses! Remember all the way back an hour ago when we told you we’d be racing at the Tour of Galena? We have some news to report:
Resident father-of-the-pro, and fast masters racer Scott Bowden will not be able to compete in the Cat 4 race this weekend. That is, of course, because Scott has been upgraded to Cat 3. Scott joins one of the largest and deepest Cat 3 teams in the Chicago area.
Scott is our second upgrade to Cat 3 already this year! You will recall, in April we briefly ran an awesome tribute (see below- posted again for your amusement) when warrior-turned-racer Bryan Fuller also upgraded out of the 4′s. We have no such tribute for Scott, but are excited to have him moving up the ranks!
